008 SPAM LIST TWO/VIDEO

[The cell was spartan in its trappings, the whole room nothing but cold metal and hard surfaces. It was small, too, hardly large enough to pace from one end to the other, and offered a distinct lack of privacy due to the row of bars separating Beatrix from the rest of the cellblock. It was tedious, cramped, awkward, but on the whole, tolerable. Worse things could have happened, she knew that well. In terms of punishment, a week of solitude below decks was a remarkably light one for a murder.
Murder. When Sarah had described the killing that way Beatrix had bristled a little at the use of the word (as she saw it, killing Cato had been the natural reaction to his attack) but didn't protest it. Slight inaccuracy aside, murder was what she did.
She supposed she should feel some guilt for that.
The guilt didn't come, however. Instead, B only felt a mixture of mundane emotions: exhaustion from the flood, annoyance at her captivity, and a quiet, hidden satisfaction at a job well done.
Zero, she thought, was not having quite the intended effect on her.]
Guess who's a free woman.
[At this point, there's little else to say. A fairly empty smile crosses B's face before she turns the feed off.]
[OOC: Joint post for Zero and for the Pants on Fire flood!]

[private]
Date: 2012-09-12 04:40 am (UTC)[He's looking forward to this--so long as he doesn't get so sloppy he wanders into slap-deserving levels of derp. But that rarely happens.]
[He gets to the pub door and pounds on it.] Hey yo! Who's on duty in there?
[spam]
Date: 2012-09-13 03:32 am (UTC)She gets there just as Seth is demanding admission, and arches an eyebrow in amusement.] We must not be on the list.

Date: 2012-09-14 01:14 am (UTC)[He waits for someone to open the door for them.] Here we go. Bar or table?
[spam]
Date: 2012-09-14 01:58 am (UTC)That depends. Are we getting drunk enough to yell at the bartender and get thrown out, or are we getting drunk enough to incomprehensibly share our secrets?

Date: 2012-09-14 11:34 pm (UTC)[He looks over the menu.] Holy crap, this thing has gotten even longer.

Date: 2012-09-15 06:26 am (UTC)Yeah? Anything particularly enticing I should try instead of a martini?

Date: 2012-10-01 05:00 pm (UTC)You weren't here when Captain Kirk was, were you?

Date: 2012-10-01 07:50 pm (UTC)[He raps on the bar to call Arkady over.] Bottle of Romulan ale and two glasses, please.

Date: 2012-10-05 04:09 am (UTC)Kirk's cabin used to be right near mine and I swear it was like being fourteen again. Every time he walked by I'd get butterflies in my stomach. It was terrible.

Date: 2012-10-05 06:02 pm (UTC)[He retrieves their order and pours into the chilled glasses.]
Heh. Yeah, he seemed like an all right guy. Can't comment on attractiveness though.

Date: 2012-10-05 07:08 pm (UTC)Hey, it wasn't that he was cute. It was because he was Captain fucking Kirk. Star Trek, man. [How could B not get a bit dazzled? She's
a Trekkiehuman.][spam]
Date: 2012-10-06 05:01 am (UTC)Yeah, I know. I do enjoy some of it. The whole having my brother back thing is really growing on me. Especially since... [A hesitation. Talking about Richie being better was pretty private. He just really likes her and wants to confide but...he's not quite there yet.]
Well, it's like he never died.
Heh-heh. Okay, I admit, if Han Solo showed up I would feel about ten fuckin' years old, you know what I'm saying?
The space guys can probably tell us some damn good stories, whatever else is true.
