[There has been a murder in town. This isn’t unusual in Aeris Navem, where screams are considered not chances to help but clear warnings over which people and places to avoid. There has also been a theft; again, not an unusual occurrence in the city. In fact it’s likely no one would have taken note if not for the somewhat odd targets of each crime; a crooked but inconsequential bureaucrat the former, a prized toy of his the latter.
It is on this rather phenomenal vehicle that the camera focuses, slowly panning over it under burning lamplight to give the viewer a good long look. Its copper chassis gleans, and a slender gloved hand settles on thenotably not leopard-print seat.]
