Mar. 16th, 2012 10:38 amCANON: Kill Bill vol. 1&2
CANON POINT: Generally, post-Vol. 2, although I'm amenable to playing at different canon points.
SEXUAL ORIENTATION: As far as we can tell, straight. She's not particularly interested in either gender anymore though.
CONTACTING: Leave a comment, send a private message, whatever. AIM and gmail names available on request.
[OOC]
BACK-TAGGING: Sure! Life happens, RP is secondary to that.
THREAD-JACKING: Unless the thread's obviously private or very intimate, sure. If you're not sure it's welcome, check in.
FOURTH WALLING: Totally cool in small doses. Because Tarantino is incorrigible, B herself might notice she looks a bit likeMia Wallace, etc., but she won't dwell on it.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Offense? What's that? Seriously, do your worst.
THREAD-DROPPING: No big deal, we all do this sometimes. But if it's a particularly important or interesting thread, I'll probably poke.
[IC]
HUGGING: Fine between friends and family, and in the right context people she's just meeting – aka, in a non-assassin context.
KISSING: A kiss on the cheek to show friendship or respect is one thing, but otherwise B's lips are just for pursing in concentration.
FLIRTING: You can try. She might flirt back a little, or she might brush it off coldly. Push it and you're looking at a stern word; push it twice and you're looking at a broken skull.
FIGHTING: Not a problem. Now that her bloody vengeance is at an end B rarely starts fights, but if she's challenged or threatened, she finishes them. (And she does have a certain love for finishing them.) Playful sparring or teaching may be in the cards as well, depending who you are.
INJURING: If your character can manage it? Fuck yes. Please contact me for permission before doing anything potentially life-threatening, though.
KILLING: If it'd be an awesome plot point, sure. But don't go killing her willy-nilly, she doesn't die that easy. And see above on asking permission.
TELEPATHY/MIND READING: Feel free. She's hard to "read" emotionally, however, and is very good at controlling her thoughts. Chalk it up to years of meditation and martial arts training.
WARNINGS: Beatrix is described as "the deadliest woman in the world." She is extremely skilled with a katana, proficient in kung-fu (specifically tiger-crane style), well trained with guns and knives, and worked for years as one of the globe's top assassins. She is formidable in a fight and unafraid to brutally disfigure or kill her opponents (although I will ALWAYS seek permission beforehand!). She is also a Quentin Tarantino character, which means she's viable to use some very unseemly language, and has been through some pretty considerable trauma (obviously).
So yeah, go ahead and consider this journal R-rated.
